The Japanese Tenmoku glaze gives Redwood a unique depth: intense brown, coppery highlights, and nuances that shift with the light. These variations are impossible to reproduce, making each cup truly unique. Only one batch produced, no reissues: Redwood is a limited edition.

The idea
The coffee ritual doesn't end with the preparation. It also lies in the choice of cup—the one you take pleasure in holding, admiring, and placing on the table. These pieces are the result of an encounter: a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of Aurore Vienne, a ceramicist.
Aurore Vienne works with stoneware from Vallauris, where each piece is thrown and engraved by hand. She creates small-batch, functional series designed to last. Simple, precise, uncompromising craftsmanship.
The creation
The Redwood cup is the result of discussions, tests, and precise choices: the clay, the glaze, the shape, the proportions. Every step mattered, until the object came to life in the hands of Aurore Vienne. Each piece is thrown individually, slowly shaped.
The room
Tenmoku glaze is applied raw, without its final color being truly visible: it is the high-temperature firing that reveals everything: the hues, the contrasts, the variations. A process where every step counts, and where no two cups can ever be exactly alike. The cups transcend their function, becoming unique objects.
